passive or active pickups guitar???
i’m looking for a guitar but i dont know if i should buy passive or active pickups. i play more bluesy sounding songs and a little bit of metal but i don’t know which one i should pick. i played my friends yamaha pacifica that had a passive pickup and it sounded really mellow and smooth. i have played active pickups any1 no the difference?

Will answer the question. I plays blues and only use passive pickups. They sound more natural to my ear.
